The turbulent events over the last few years have spotlighted the need for trust in business. Research suggests that society’s trust in business organisations has declined. This article considers individual trust and pinpoints five elements: mindset, communication, interaction, behaviour and professional image. Mindset is about the development of the individual within a healthy atmosphere of teamwork, constructive criticism and improvement.
