Wuhan was the city in China where the Covid-19 virus was first recorded. This article looks at the role of the New World Wuhan hotel during the lockdown process. They had to innovate in the ways they provided food and the way the hotel was run. As the hotel reopened they considered ways of attracting new customers and asking more fundamental questions on how the hospitality industry could move forward into a new scenario.
