The virus crisis has brought about situations where businesses have seen revenue collapse almost overnight. Brewdog faced the prospect of its 102 bars remaining closed for the foreseeable future. The company saw the need to produce hand-sanitizer and the article describes how it was able to do so quickly, literally within days. It also developed a virtual bar for its customers to participate in a pub quiz, guided beer tastings and live music.

Good article about a company local to me

In essence this shows the evolving world that Management accounts need to a must operate in. Adapting current ways of doing things into new solutions. Granted this venture would appear to be charitable but the skill sets shown in adaptation / change management/value driving and strategic thinking are the same in a commercial situation.
