As the business was conceived to be a remote one I think it is incumbent on its leaders to actively engage with its staff. Incidentally we also operate a standard 4 day week for the creative team. While this is welcomed it has not been seen as a benefit during lockdown.

With regards to remote working it is striking the right balance between task management and encouragement. I think informal catch ups are important as are formal mechanisms. PDR's are more important than ever, especially in a small team.
